Rant 2

The things that agrivate me the most is when your significant other stays up late at night and then sleeps all day.

Like where is my time? Where is the time your supposed to spend with me?

Why shut me out?

Its not fair to me or the kids when you do this. I used to think that things wouldnt get like this this early but no. Its something thats going on now when I thought we wouldn't be at this point for a while.

I don't know... Maybe I am overlooking it or making a big deal over this for nothing but.... I cook for you and do all this other stuff you like. But you can't go to bed with me?

Rant over I can't think of anything rlse to rant about.

Please comment and like this post if you feel the same way.

Basil

In Herbology today we are going to learn about Basil!

As per usual I will link Google's response here:

"Basil is a highly fragrant plant whose leaves are used as a seasoning herb for many different types of foods. Basil has become one of the most recognizable herbs ever since pesto, the mixture of basil, pine nuts and Parmesan cheese, has become popular. Basil has round leaves that are oftentimes pointed."

Again not my info, just something I looked up for research.

I like to use Basil in cooking as it puts in a nice flavor to the food. Especially when you do like a roast with some potatoes and carrots and cabbage. Oh that is so good!

Wikipedia state's:
"Basil, also called great basil, is a culinary herb of the family Lamiaceae. Basil is native to tropical regions from central Africa to Southeast Asia. It is a tender plant, and is used in cuisines worldwide. Wikipedia

But really what I think is good are the magical properties to Basil.

Basil has the magical properties of:

  • protection,
  • exorcism,
  • money spells,
  • to improve your job or even to get a new one,
  • beauty spells
  • love spells!
Here is a great page to go look at for more info on Basil https://www.magicalrecipesonline.com/2012/03/basil-magical-properties.html

Now I know I did not do this for Anise (looking up the magical properties and I will just to catch up.)

                           Additional info for Anise:

Anise's magical properties:

Stops misfortunes, increases psychic power, brings back a lost love, increases good luck.

I hope this helps.

Rant

Hello all

I am just dropping in to check in and do a little rant.

Do you ever feel like your having a bad day? Week? Month? Year?

That's where I am feeling like right about now. I don't think I have had a bit of luck at all this year. Like everything just seems to go wrong. Let me know if you feel the same.

Well. Love you all. Bye.

Anise

In Herbology today we are starting with Anise!

While google states that:

"Anise (/ˈænɪs/; Pimpinella anisum), also called aniseed, is a flowering plant in the family Apiaceae native to the eastern Mediterranean region and Southwest Asia. Its flavor has similarities with some other spices, such as star anise, fennel, and licorice."

Its a very good spice that you can use while in its whole form or even in the ground form too.

Wikipedia says: "Anise

Plants

Description

Anise, also called aniseed, is a flowering plant in the family Apiaceae native to the eastern Mediterranean region and Southwest Asia. Its flavor has similarities with some other spices, such as star anise, fennel, and liquorice. Wikipedia

I find that its very relaxing licorice aroma can help you relax any tense nerves. Unless you don't like the smell of licorice that is LOL. The reason I say this is because Anise is sweet and very aromatic.

Anise also has some good use for medicinal ways as well. You can use it for relieving gas bubbles in you stomach that cause burps and farts. Its able to help with diarrhea and sleepless nights too.. (Please see Wikipedia for more information on this.)

In all words put together Anise is one of the many herbs that is helpful to us.

*****Some of this information is not mine and I do not claim it to be mine. I was using it for research which is why I put in the websites and listed where I got it from.
